HATA Membership Categories
There are 2 categories of membership, namely: –
Active members and Allied Members, whose membership of The Association shall be recorded in separate sections of the Register. A Member may be Corporations and, where permitted by these Articles, the partners for the time being trading under a firm name.
Active Members
Active members shall be Travel Agents who meet the criteria laid down from time to time by TIC for Ordinary or Affiliate Membership of TIC; and all other existent categories members (excluding Allied Members) of The Association shall automatically be transferred as Active Members.
Allied Members
Allied Member shall be any of the following who have been established in business in Hong Kong for at least one year; Air, Sea or Land Transportation companies, Hotels, Air Cargo Agents, and any tourism related organisation.
